FAQs

Sessions

Sessions are 50 minutes long and scheduled in advance.

Scheduling

Sessions are scheduled in advance unless there is a need to reschedule. I offer weekly sessions to begin but will open up the conversation to bi-weekly or monthly as we continue working together and evaluating your needs.

Cancellations

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy with the option to reschedule within 5 days if I have availability. As each session is a time commitment to you, if your session is cancelled within 48 hours of your appointment, you will be charged the full fee.

If you cancel without rescheduling 3 times in a row, we will discuss an alternative time that may work better for your schedule.

This allows me to ensure that your session is held exclusively for you.

Late Arrivals

Please let me know if you will be more than 15 minutes late as soon as possible.

To respect the therapeutic space and the work being done in each session,  clients will not be admitted into sessions, without prior approval, if they arrive more than 15 minutes late to their scheduled appointment time, and will be considered a no-show and charged as such.

Telehealth

Telehealth sessions are held through SimplePractice.

You will be able to access the link through email, the client portal, or text message.

Parent Sessions

Parent sessions are held regularly (every 4-6 weeks) for children under the age of 13. This is to ensure we remain in communication about how we can work as a team to support your child. Parent sessions are 30-50 minutes ($110-190).

Parent sessions can be held upon request for teens ages 13-17. Your child will be made aware of any upcoming sessions.

Co-Parenting is handled as follows: Both parents will be cc-ed on all communications. If there is a request for a parent session, we will do one of the following: we will schedule collectively for all parties to attend, one parent may forfeit their parent session but will receive an email summarizing the call, or we will schedule individual sessions and summarize both meetings via email.

Emergencies

If you are ever experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room.

I will be available to support as soon as possible you but cannot provide immediate care. It is of the utmost importance that your safety is prioritized.
